You may peacefully protest anywhere you like. Nobody is stopping anyone from peacefully protesting anywhere. Is that what you see happening in America today?
You may not, however, use the Flag of my country as your platform to trample those that have died to give you the freedom to run your mouth peacefully and expect America to be OK with it. I’m not OK with it.
As for peaceful protesting, Be assured, that I’m quite aware of where our rights originate. I’m quite aware that our United States Constitution is America’s founding document. I understand what the Bill of Rights are and I’ve read the Federalist Papers. I’m well read on the origin of our country. I’m also aware the our Flag and our National Anthem are symbols that represent our nation of rights. Note that I did clearly say they were “symbols”; and yes they do represent our nation and those documents that define it.
As for me, I choose as one form of protest to speak with my wallet. That is actually peaceful and it does make a statement. Only a fool thinks Nike has any agenda whatsoever, other than making money off people like you. As for the so called peaceful protesters you speak of, these same people beating store owners and burning police stations aren’t protesters, and they aren’t peaceful. They are thugs that should be imprisoned for what they have done.
These Antifa fools should be arrested on terrorist charges because that is what they are. But I suppose you’re one to believe CNN when they suggests it’s White Supremacists setting fires to police cars and throwing molotov cocktails at police officers; even though there is not a shred of evidence to support a word of that crap.
Is that what you call peaceful? BTW,, while we’re taking about Colin Kapernick, his movement has yet to highlight even a single example of 21st century oppression. Please tell me where these oppressed 21st century people are at? What cities do they live? Who runs these cities? What is the cause of their oppression?
Are you sure it’s oppression that creates the environment these supposed oppressed people are in, or is it poor politics and foolish voting that keep people in the situations they are in. People want Jobs, not dependency. Nobody can help people who keep voting the same party into office for the last 60 years and keep getting the same results; DEPENDENCY. If you want “Dependency” on government, keep voting the same way and you’ll keep getting the same result. There is a word for people who keep doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
So, when these people use the guise of peaceful protest to burn down buildings and beat store owners, don’t come here and try to blow smoke up our asses. Call it for what it is and call it wrong. The person accused of killing George Floyd has been charged with murder. What’s the purpose of peaceful protests that burn down buildings, banks, businesses, and beat store owners with sticks? When you defend this behavior, you are part of the problem. Everyone is not guilty of killing George Floyd and Liberals and Conservatives all agree that his death was abhorrent and disgusting.

What more can the law enforcement officials do?
This cop had a pattern of cruelty. They could have stopped him years ago. It stands to reason that, on police forces all over the country, there are cops like this. What more can law enforcement do? They can review records and identify those with multiple brutality complaints. They can fire them, or at least scare them into being better. They can also start using personality testing to eliminate bullies from the hiring process.
