What do you mean? Of course the owners are disputing that the current agreement is acceptable.

I think that's reasonable given that they can't operate normally.

I don't think owners should squeeze the players for pennies. But, I also don't think the owners should have to bear the entire hit for the situation we find ourselves in. They definitely shouldn't do that if they'd be better of financially by not having a season.

The owners signed the current agreement, which provides for a prorated reduction in player salaries. It 100% addresses how to pay players in this situation.

Again, you're conflating owners not liking their own deal with the deal somehow being unacceptable.

They don't. They signed a deal to share the hit with players by players getting only prorated salaries.

Then they started not liking the prorated idea and refusing to honor it. The players want the pay cut they agreed to take.
