Never been one to air my laundry, but I've been a part of this board now for 7 years. My wife and I lost our unborn child sometime yesterday. It would have been our first. She was about 12 weeks along. We're both devastated, but we understand this is not the end of our journey on this Earth. We'd appreciate your prayers during this rough time.

So sorry. Unfortunately, I know that feeling. Prayers and peace to you.

So sorry to hear that. Prayers are with you. You're one of my favorite posters and I always appreciate your commentary.
My best friend and his wife lost their first child and she is now one month away from having their fifth. The quintessential promise of Christianity is hope, so maintain that moving forward.

So sorry to hear. It happened to my grandma my sister and two of my nieces. It is more common than people think. God be with y’all through this hard time.

I can sympathize with you SCL. My wife and I have experienced two miscarriages during our marriage. Very painful. Prayer lifted for y’all. God bless.

I am sorry for your loss and it is a big one.
Both my mom and sister lost one close to full term, had successful pregnancies later. I do know they are not interchangeable.

Wow that's terrible to hear. Sorry my man

That is the verse that gives me most comfort.

I'm so incredibly sorry.
My best friend lost one very early before he and his wife had their little girl.
A woman I went to school with lost her second at 30+ weeks.
Both families have shown such strength and resilience in the face of their loss, and I marvel at the new depths of love they've found for each other (including the lost little ones).
My wife and I agonized over it for my wife's entire pregnancy, as we had spent over a year trying and knew literally as soon as possible when she got pregnant.

Prayers that you guys get through, SCL. That’s tough and something I experienced years ago, as well.
It won’t help now; but be sure it will pass and you will begin a family sooner rather than later.
