Who else is excited about Kary Vincent

Hey Guys,
I am new here and I am not sure if people here as as excited as I am when you think of Kary Vincent. I always thought he was our weakest link last year but as the season progressed, he became a more dependable player. I look forward to seeing him more at safety but I don’t think opposing QB’s would take advantage of him pressed against WRs

I think Kary will be one of the best FS in CFB if they let him play back there. I think he is just okay as a slot CB but we will if he has improved.
Kary is SUPER fast (I think he will run low 4.3s at the Combine) so he can cover a huge chunk of the field as a deep safety and has good Zone instincts. That pick he has against UGA just showed his potential as a FS. It was Earl Thomas-like.

Welcome to Tiger Rant, Mekedan.
I like Kary Vincent. He has shown great loyalty and dedication to the Tigers. And, as you point out, he got better as the year went on last year. Looking forward to seeing him progress even more this year!

There are a lot of players on the team I'm excited about but Kary Vincent is not one of them on my list.

Speed isn’t the issue, it’s his physical assertiveness at the line if he’s asked to jam a WR.

He had a couple bad games but overall he had a good year, stats don’t lie

Kary is going to have a breakout season and will get drafted in the first three rounds. He was critical last year but didn’t get much credit. Bush and Cory love him.

Uhh he had the highest PFF grade as a slot cb in the SEC..

Which is why he plays nickel and covers the slot or plays free safety. No you can’t put him on an island on the outside but you don’t have to be that to be an excellent defensive back. Kary is a stud on the backend

i agree completely with this...personally i think he is horrible at man coverage but him roaming the back half of the field would be awesome

He has played for us since he stepped on campus. He's a good player and I see him having a great senior season.
