I’m just saying it doesn’t make any logistical sense that they use those weapons if they won’t fully use them.

That Mr Freeze intro episode was so good as a kid. Even now. That episode showed the potential for the Mr. Freeze character.

They did use them, they created the footclan as robots so the turtles could go off on them. Alot like the much added use of sentinels for the x men cartoon.

Robots were the way to go for adding acceptable violence.

As I said, this series ruined Ninja Turtles for me, so I wouldn’t have overthought it unless this masterpiece of a series put it into perspective.

Lot of dusty onions in my living room that day. This is the one that became the first cartoon to win an Emmy.

Did you buy the series on amazon prime? I wanted to relive my childhood and watch this series but I got on amazon prime and it only had where you could rent or buy it.

I went ahead and bought it. I was kinda hesitant with HBO Max coming out. It was only $40 for 80 or so episodes so not terrible

ETA: I can see it ending up on HBO Max along with the rest of the DC universe,

Just watch in release order for the most part.

Batman TAS

Mask of the Phantasm

Superman TAS

The World's Finest Movie

Batman TAS (The New Adventures)

Subzero, Mystery of the Batwoman, (the Adventure Continues comics if really taking the deep dive on why Dick hates Bruce and dislikes Babs in this version.)

Static Shock

Then the continuity starts to harden a bit so skip Beyond for now if a stickler

Justice League

JL Unlimited skip season 2 episode 26

JL Unlimited Post Script Season 3

Batman Beyond (Finally)

Return of the Joker

Epilogue (JLU season 2 ep 26)

And then live knowing Terry was a punkass for not making a life with Max or Ten. He chose worst girl.

Note: The above image is wrong, as Terry did tap that arse at least.

Treat yourself to the Turtles movie where 1987, 2003, and the first comic all crossed over.

The animation was stiff, the voice acting was subpar (even with the constant orgasm Jean), it was heavily Claremont stories without the fetish play, pushed Jubilee instead of Kitty, spawned the what color is Xavier's hoverchair argument. And every episode hovered closer to There's a Batman in my Basement levels of eh.

It gave us Rogue's arse as often as possible though.

BTAS was a superior production all around.

The better question is what is better on X-Men? I think anything you bring up will be worse. I can’t think of a single thing that series is better in. The animation, the action, the characters, the narrative, the voice acting, the drama... like literally nothing. There’s nothing that show does better. Maybe a long term arc, but Batman never tried to be that.

"Growing Pains"... Robin trying to protect a little girl from Clayface.

Don't spoil if for people who haven't seen it.

Clayface wasnt even the worst villain there. He was just trying to hunt her down.

The gang that was trying to rape a 13yo? New Adventures had weird mood swings from a lot of good laughs to guess Batgirl dies now and Gordon goes competent Thunderbolt Ross.
