Anyone had any experience with this ammo? I just bought a Savage model 11 in .308. Spent the morning trying out a couple different types of ammo to get it zeroed. I picked up a box of these at Walmart for around $20 and they group excellent. About 1” MOA which was much better than anything else I have shot. Planning on using them this year. Anyone shot a deer with these? Results? Thanks

I shoot deer every year with this round, never an issue.

I had a box of .270 a few years back and had at least 7 rounds with a crooked tip. Granted that was the first year they came out, they might’ve fixed it by now. Did drop a doe and 8 point with them at 120 & 180 yds before I figured it out.

Thought it was funny it took me 8 rounds to sight in new ammo”good enough” with a rifle that was dead on prior to.

They were decent rounds from “deer killing” experience. Just inspect the rounds before you buy.

Go pick up another box. Great price and it works in your rifle.
