Seen this before, it's a pattern. Republicans get things in order, passing smart, reasonable policies. Most people are happy. Then after a short few election cycles, liberals get elected because complacent conservatives don't get out and vote. Eventually the liberal rot gets so bad conservatives become so frustrated they come out and put Republicans back in charge to fix things, then become complacent again.

I agree with the sentiment, Mick .... indeed.

But voting the straight Republican ticket is what got us here ... not all elected Republicans are MAGA ... and too many are RINO's.

IMO, patriots need to take back the House and keep the Senate, ... but also send a message to the Swamp ..... by ridding ourselves of a high-profile swamper or two .... like Mitch McConnell. That would send a powerful message to the embedded establishment.

McConnell has inhabited the swamp for 35+ years ... think about that ... it is literally a lifetime within a thoroughly corrupted institution. Most of the indulgences paid for Senate votes go through McConnell for distribution to those that bloc-vote with him.

McConnell is the foremost expert at this game ... and NOBODY gets added on a meaningful Committee without Mitch's say-so ... and Mitch doesn't appoint ANYONE that he doesn't have leverage over (e.g. Rubio). He's the poster-child for Term Limits.

McConnell wouldn’t even adjourn the Senate in order to allow Trump to select his own appointees ... thus exerting Legislative Branch influence over the Executive Branch head of state.

McConnell must be removed ... while still keeping the Senate. Based on current projections, we likely net 5-6 new Senate seats in November ... so, honestly, we can afford to sacrifice a couple of RINO's ... RINO's that are in it for themselves.

Let Mitch McConnell be the first to be targeted .... so as to send a message to the others. MAGA first ...

The pendulum effect.

Speaks to motivation being the driving factor for voting. Poll all you want. It’s easy to answer while sitting on your couch.

the pendulum swings harder every time. I lie about my trump support all the time, try to drop subtle 'red pills' which is really just the truth.

I've also learned that pretty much everyone who says they 'don't want to discuss politics' is a trump supporter - because democrats and lefties are so convinced of the ''rightness'' of their cause they trumpet it to the sky and bash orange man loudly and openly every chance they get, always with zero self awareness, critical thinking, or basic consideration for others who may not be 100% in lockstep with them.

Hopefully when Trump wins again this year more of them will start to question the authenticity of the media. But most won't.
