I've never seen someone throw a spinning reel into the water after frustration.
I've seen baitcasters thrown in the water out of frustration several times.
Strictly a salt water fisherman here.
I understand their appeal for bass fishing, but bringing them out to catch trout and redfish, especially when there is wind is just a stupid idea.
