Rewatched it a month or so ago...

and man, watching Coop start crying as he watches his kids grow up on the videos they transmit, that was so tough... It hit me on this rewatch that his emotion comes from him sacrificing his time in space and missing his kids growing up and being there with them.

I’m not ashamed to admit it: I had some tears during Interstellar. I think that scene almost got me there, but Cooper going to Murph’s deathbed got me completely.

100%. I watched this movie once years ago and that scene has always stuck with me and I don’t even have kids! I stumbled across the soundtrack of that movie recently that made me want to rewatch it again over quarantine too. The score during that whole scene is also just perfect. Loved Interstellar but it’s a commitment to watch because of how long it was.

I’ve been listening to it while working from home on my own everyday. Actually helps keep me focused

Great movie. Definitely in my top 10.

The wormhole in IMAX was awesome.

I don't think I ever cried more during a movie than that scene, and that was before I had kids. If I re-watched it now after having 2 children, I'd probably get dehydrated.
