"Standing on the Corner in Winslow, Az." Bronze statues of the Eagles for pictures. Cool stores around the square. Right off of I-40

If on 40 you can also check out Petrified Forest NP, just east of Winslow. Exit 311 puts you at the painted desert entrance. The main park road then dumps you out on US 180. Take it west and hit 40 again at exit 286.
Between Winslow and Flagstaff is Meteor Crater.
