Jeff Sessions never abandoned recruits at a restaurant.
But he did abandon his boss when he needed him at his side the most.

Sad to see Alabamians voting for a guy to represent their state and he’s not even from Alabama nor does he live in Alabama now
Sessions votes the party line. What more do you want?
And damn anybody that spoke ill of Senator Shelby. The man is doing a fantastic job.
Don’t shake things up just to shake them up

Tuberville has a house in Auburn. He used to have a house on Lake Martin. Not sure if he owns that anymore.

You seriously think Trump has never been in a board meeting?

I have nothing against Sessions, but I have two main points against his election.
I want Doug Jones gone.
1) Sessions age: He is already up there, so he may only have 1 term left in him. I don't want him to win in 2020 and then have an open seat in 2026.
2) Several Trump supporters do not like him so what if enough stayed home and Jones won again....Disaster.

That’s almost a 2:1 lead for a newcomer non-politician vs an ex-US Senator decades long politician
I smell another republican sweep of House and Senate coming in November?

Tubs sole motivation is banking political capital to keep his wife out of jail after her next vehicular manslaughter.
ETA: Also, as far as politics go, I'd bet he was a big fan of McCain.

Richard Shelby announce his retirement or something?

Hopefully if Shelby hangs around for a few more years he can get his name on more college buildings.
The reason I do not like Sessions and Shelby is the same reason I do not care for Pelosi, Schumer and McConnell. Career politicians, Need term limits.
I do not believe the founding fathers meant for it to be this way.

After living in Fairhope and meeting some people here I'm amazed that some people don't want Tubbs because he was the Auburn Coach. And Sessions IMO blew his chance when he was AG. So I'll be voting for Tubbs
