Any of y’all excited for this? I’ve apparently been under a rock and didn’t realize they we’re developing this and it will be released on September 1st. I had a lot of fun with CK2. Pretty sure I populated half of Europe with my bastards.

Every grand strategy game that Paradox puts out has my attention. I've played a shitton of CK2, EUIV, and HOI4 over the years. Only thing I've never gotten in to is Victoria.

It'll definitely be interesting to see how it is. I've put a ridiculous amount of hours into CK2 over the years.
But given that it took a few expansions to make it the game it became, not sure I'll be running out to buy ck3 right off the bat.

They’ve actually stated that this as a major focus in the development of CK3. They want this one to be much more “complete” as a vanilla game. Hopefully it’s not just talk and they actually deliver a content rich first release.

At least wait till the week after release so you can get the first 3 xpacs, maybe even a 4th, for a bundled discount.

I'll believe it when I see it.
But, I have no doubt that at some point a few years from now, I'm going to sink a couple thousand hours into that game.

Same, pretty much me in a nutshell. I'm sure I'll buy it after the first 3 or for expacs come out and I see which of those are actually worth buying.
