We don’t need steel drums, Bob Marley, or red red wine on every beach playlist. What are some good songs for drinking Zimas on the beach during phase 1?

There are plenty of Bob Marley tracks that wouldn't be considered "cliche". Try to step away from being such a normie for once.

Are you looking for mainstream artists or are you ok with some lesser known folks?

A few off my beach playlist:
Stars On the Water - Jimmy Buffett
Toes - Zac Brown Band
Under the Boardwalk - The Drifters
Lucky Enough - Scott Kirby
Heart of a Beach Town - Scott Kirby
When the Coast Is Clear - Buffett
Southern Cross - Crosby, Stills & Nash
That's Where I Belong - Alan Jackson
Island Rain - Mac McAnally (I prefer this version to Kenny Chesney's version)

The first thing that popped into my head was Wavves King of the Beach album, unsurprisingly.

Catchy pop punk album that I like to listen to during the summer.

You can't do a beach album without the Beach Boys.

The key is to use tracks that aren't cliched but give the beach vibe.

Such as "Feel Flows" from the closing credits of Almost Famous.
