the reopening

massively overblown. Just becuase the governor eased up some restrictions doesn't mean it's normal like pre-virus. Just about every business I've seen that has the option (restaurants, salons, etc) have still elected to either stay closed or barely dip their toe in the water.

I live in Atlanta and took my in-laws to Athens this weekend before coming back home. In Athens and Atlanta combined, I think I saw maybe 3 or 4 restaurants total that were offering dine-in services, and that of course was with heavy restrictions.

Already starting with the excuses for when nobody else catches Covid. Georgia already has herd immunity like almost every other state. Cling to your virus. Root for your virus.

Yep. The impact has been overblown by both "sides." Reopening isn't going to do a whole lot for the economy, and it's also not going to do much to change COVID-19 infection rates, because most people are still going to be restricting their behavior.
