Explain the basis for aggravated assault. Google "aggravated assault" and nothing on the video fits the charge. The state may try to hoo doo the jury to get themselves a conviction but if that description of the crime is accurate it will be difficult to uphold on appeal. Not a lawyer obviously but I can read.
You're walking down the street and a guy is following you, you look up and 2 of his friends with guns are just up ahead and then begin yelling at you to stop. Would it be reasonable to fear that you may suffer a violent injury?

How about not attacking and armed individual and attempting to take their weapon?? You know just a thought.
Good health tip especially when he had armed back-up.

It completely depends on whether the father/son were legally justified in their citizens arrest actions or not.
The Citizens Arrest requires both immediate knowledge AND a Felony being committed. NEITHER element was present for the McDumbasses.

I agree. IMO the circumstances and their actions do not meet the standard required by law that you cited.

That's enough to constitute a "citizen's arrest," which the McMichaels had no right to perform.
In the incident report the Michaels told the police that they were trying to stop Arbery and talk to him. They didn’t say they were stopping him to arrest him.

That’s probably why they said they pulled up next to him rather than stopped in the road waiting for him.

The McMichaels credibility is going to be trash when the prosecution compares their statements to the police versus what's seen on video. McMichael senior lied quite a bit about what happened when questioned by the cops.

The police statement said the McMichaels told them that they just wanted to stop and talk to Arbery. The McMichaels did not tell the cops that they wanted to stop and arrest Arbery. Where did the notion that the McMichaels wanted to arrest Arbery come from?

Do you not know the word arrest literally means “to stop?”
And they had no legal authority to arrest/stop/detain/hold him. Since they did not have the authority to perform a legal citizen’s arrest, then by default, they committed assault. Since they were armed, it is aggravated assault (though, I think the trucks could even be argued as well). Since aggravated assault is a felony and another person died during the commission of that felony, under Georgia law, that is murder.

they committed assault.
Y'all are really stretching logic and legal loopholes to defend this career criminal.
