OTOH some parents who may have been on the fence about homeschooling, or weren't too sure if they could do it or not, may now decide to go that route.

Speaking of education, I think the entire school model may be rethought. A combination of online and in-class curriculum would be a more efficient use of buildings and taxes, parents may seek out options for curricula that better fits their values, and recognizing how much fluff is in the average school day are just a few things for starters.
