No one could say it's not safe to go there
Expanding voting locations and time to vote makes more sense than mail ins.
It all goes back to, if I can go to Walmart with the nasties then why can't I socially distance while voting.

You are correct. There is absolutely no reason to not vote in person. The dems see an opportunity and are taking it. Nothing more.

collecting in person votes for a couple of weeks would be a good compromise. They could also use some of that giveaway money to pay notaries to go to nursing homes, schools, churches, etc
there’s a way to do this safely and still have reasonable controls. All it takes is a plan. Instead, this will be piecemealed and chaotic, per usual
