favorite espn columnist?

Of the three main guys that write columns about football -- Mark Schlabach, Ivan Maisel, Pat Forde -- it's Forde by a landslide for me. Forde was the only one that didn't spend last December ranting and raving about how USC or Georgia deserved to be in the title game only to spend last January kissing up to the Tigers; Forde didn't from what I remember.
Oh, and there's Gene Woiciecantwriteagoodcolumntosavemylife as well, I guess. >_>

Don't read ESPN too much. Schlabach's not bad, IMO. Forde's a douche.

As much as I dislike most of their college football guys, I feel the opposite about their baseball guys, Gammons, Olney, Kurkjian, Neyer, Crasnick, and Caple are all great

When you say a team should be penalized one year for what they did in previous years (like when he said OSU should AUTOMATICALLY BE BANNED from the NCG this year, even if we win every game by 50 and no other teams have less than two losses), I think that qualifies him as a douche, but that's just my opinion.

Unless of course the scenario unfolds where you guys roll through your schedule only to get crushed in the NC Game again, then he is very wise

Even then, he's wrong, though, because none of those two loss teams would be more deserving of going than OSU.

I don't watch (except for CFB live) or read ESPN anymore since they've turned sports reporting into a fricking tabloid.
