A FUN PS4 Game?

I play a lot of sports games. Sick of playing MLB the Show. I am at home with Covid right now and I am looking for a fun game to download. I don't really feel like getting into a story. Anyone got some ideas? Thanks again

OP, if you like difficult but extremely rewarding and awesome games, then yes Bloodborne is the go to PS4 exclusive.
Besides that you obviously have the new God of War, which is top notch and also a great game, good blend of story telling with legitimate gameplay.
You also have a Spiderman PS4 exclusive that's highly acclaimed and even the Ratchet and Clank remake if you want just plain old school fun.

PSN Hidden Gems Sale
If you're not much into a story, there's a few I can suggest. If you are into survival games at all, Subnautica is a great choice. Fun game, and you can turn off hunger and thirst and just worry about your health. There is a story, but it's hidden away in audio logs, so it's just a lot of swimming around, building new equipment to get you to new areas, and a gorgeous landscape. Can be mindless fun.
Talo Principle is only $5 and is a super fun puzzle game. Again, story there, but it's more about the puzzles. Great soundtrack.

I love how someone will give obvious clues that a hard game with deep lore wouldn't be up their alley, but almost always in these threads the first suggestion is a Soulsbourn game

Sniper Elite III is only $7.50. Really fun sniping game with x-ray slow motion kills. Always good for a laugh if you can get a nut shot.

Is Hollow Knight on PS4? I know it's on PSNow.
Truth be known, if you're going to spend full price on a PS game, PlaystationNow is the best deal going for the money. It's $60 for the year and you can download lots of games to your console and not worry about streaming issues.

Super mega baseball 3 will be out on May 14th.
I have bought SMB 1 and 2 over the last few years. Its a old school kinda vibe game. No real players, its pretty much one button type game.
If you like COD games, download Warzone, its free.

Just downloaded rocket league yesterday, I made a thread, I was pretty impressed. It keeps me busy and enjoyable to play with the kids. Bout to get back on, it was $19 on Playstation store. I downloaded farm simulator too because it was free, haven't played it yet.

It's just a great time. So many different ways to go about a hit, and the challenges help guide you along that. "Oh, I didn't know I could use this submarine to run this guy over on dry land." Story is decent, but with a game like this, it can be just background noise
