Even if you’re catching fish, leave when you spot storms on the horizon. They get real bad, real fast. I’ve seen one distant dark cloud turn into a sky full of blackness in a eerily short amount of time. My other tip would be to invest in a rig hook, much easier and safer than tying up to a rig.

Here in Florida they always open it up for charter boats first on red snapper. June 1st for charters, June 11th for recreational.
It’s ridiculous. Hard to catch grouper because there’s so many fricking snapper on the wrecks. Two fish limit is a joke. They’re damn near a pest at this point.

Snapper are super easy to catch. Get some bait, damn near anything will work.
The posters TunaTime and tightlines beg to differ. You mind helping them out?

I dont like them. I either use my trolling motor or stay on the big motor. If you're going to attach to the rig use a slip knot so you can bail quickly a tie up longggggg. The fish can be caught well off the structure.
Crew boat wakes are huge and dangerous. Its not like they can sneak up on you or anything, but if they do they can put you in the rig. Lots of stuff to be aware of. Catching snapper is super easy but you need to be safe out there, especially if you're not in an offshore type boat
