He may have gone in the first round, but that's just fan speculation. Most likely I think he would've taken Henderson's spot and not Okudah's. Okudah is just a) more of a known quantity and b) more polished as a corner. The expected difference between their contracts are $13 million with the number three making 33 million and the number nine making 20 million. Your tax class could be talking about inflation, but that would need to be more than 50% inflation in the next two years which hasn't happened since the early 1900s due to the world wars. So unless you are expecting wartime production in the next couple of years, it's better for Stingley to stay at least for one more year.

I think scouts would take into account that Stingley is two years younger than Okudah and I also believe Stingley would've tested better than Okudah particularly in the 40 and he probably would have still gone before Okudah.
