How many more tigers could've been drafted if eligible OR not trying to increase stock.
Not eligible:
Stingley- 100% drafted
Chase- 100%
Marshall- likely but not 100%, def not top 3 rounds
Increasing draft stock:
Shelvin- 100%
Stevens- drafted but not high enough
Deculus- likely drafted
For me, that's 4 guaranteed and 6 altogether is see likey. That's insane talent!
Glad some wanted to come back to improve stock and others cannot leave us!!

Likely a 1st round Pick. For sure going to be a top 3 round pick. If you don’t think that you didn’t watch the season. He was leading in TDS before a small foot injury slowed him down.

I don't disagree, but those are LSU goggles that we wear, the same ones that don't know how Miss didn't get drafted. With 1 season of real stats and video as an underclassman, he wouldn't have been drafted that high THIS year. I think he balls out and gets a 1st/2nd round grade next year!

Strongly disagree

[just saw your comment on THIS year -tho if not injured, he'd have been gone in rds 1-3]

Even with out the “LSU Goggles”. He has all the physical attributes. Everything you here about him is that he is a hard worker and a great kid. He would have been second round this year for sure the 3rd round. There was a lot of runs on WR on day 2. Most were not as talented as Marshall nor did they have the same production he had this year.

Getting significant PT for LSU generally means about a 75% chance of getting drafted. We typically have a couple OL or DL that don’t get drafted but sign UDFA deals. Occasionally a safety or a nickel. Pretty much everyone else goes pro.

The difference this year is that we had so many in a single class and so many that went in the top three rounds. When you add the guys that weren’t eligible, we legitimately could have had another 2-3 first rounders.

Guy has all the things a pro team should be looking for. Absent an injury it is hard to conceive of a situation where he is not taken in the first 3 rounds.

Things don’t happen in a vacuum you don’t just add 2 more WR to an already incredibly deep WR and they go in the first. There’s no way Marshall goes in the first in this draft with the time he missed.

Marshall was once considered the most talented on the team last year before he got hurt. If not for injury, a good combine, he very possibly could have went ahead of Jefferson who went in the first round. Not definitely, but possibly. I definitely think he is more talented than Jefferson.

Marshall’s production will be the tell tale as to were he gets drafted. As of now, with injuries he’s not a first round guy, with only one year of okay production. He could be drafted high with a good/great combine and performs to the level that Chase and Jefferson did last season.
