Looking at his highlights, he’s got some incredible throws. Like top 5 in the league throws. And he has just as many wtf was he thinking throws and good god that was just a bad throw type plays. He also probably had 7-8 tipped ball fluke INTs.
Payton would really have to work some magic but I think he could. Winston is really, really good off PA and on the move. He’s absolutely terrible when under pressure, though, which is why he’d have to be in a run oriented offense like San Francisco. Let him throw it 25-30 times a game and that’s it.
