I'm essentially trading for the most part with some long term holds. I am worried about the election's effect on the market.

This looks like a good time to get in on Roku as I missed my chance before.

Yeah but I could lose 1500 a day in Apple while everything else does good or I could sell it and make real money in companies like GameStop and dollar general that are more innovative and have a better product
Eta: I bought Apple post crash

Yeah I did alright
I sold Hal 2 weeks ago and haven’t looked back but Etrade reset my record after since it was such a big chunk of the 85k lifetime green or whatever
I started in March like 40k lifetime red from penny stocking 10 years ago

Same here. I hit 61% on this good Friday close. It's a nice feeling. I hope it lasts!

I just want to thank all of you for sharing your successes and for all of the advice ya'll give.
I'm up 75% since June.
You guys are my only source for stocks to invest in.
I use your tips then research the ones I like. WKHS has done most of the heavy lifting.
Thanks again

lots of chart readers on fintwit calling for a strong week ahead for PINS.
into the 40s would be another step up to gather momentum
I really like the way this one has advanced. After the gap up on 2Q earnings it has stayed stable with no wild swings up or down (unlike ROKU for example, or FSLY). Stocks that take the stairs seem to work out for me best. PINS is seen as a neutral partner in both e-commerce and ad sales and is easily integrated into existing platforms
It’s not just a housewife app

My issue with PINS is in order for me to look at anything, I have to join
While its not that big of a deal, it is a pet peeve of mine

it’s a feature not a bug
I’m gonna share a bit of research here from CML pro and encourage everyone who might have interest in a research subscription to consider how much knowledge can be purchased for 47/mo. This service has literally changed everything for me as an investor
Here’s a snippet from the PINS dossier from July

As we see it, this is a quietly brewing storm.
– A social medium that is not infected by trolling and fake news.
– A social medium that is built for commerce.
– A social medium that is remarkably good at converting ads into sales. – A social medium that is just getting started with markets.
– A social medium that is showing the largest increase in referral traffic than any peer, even the mighty Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
– A social medium that just showed shopping revenue growing faster than the rest of the business seeing almost 100% year over year growth. That’s it.
The rest is just conversation.

watch ROKU on this tiktok news.
roku would be a perfect platform for a streaming tiktok app. It could carry advertizing as well as host original content. Oracle and Walmart together could make that happen and FSLY can handle it without latency issues
could be the start of something disruptive. They aren’t making this kind of power play for a dancing app.

I’m going to break my vow not to add money into the market and will buy back into ETSY in the morning. I got out just in time at 121 and it’s been trading in the 110s since. This is a hunch
PINS and ETSY have some serious synergy. The founders of FSLY all came from ETSY. I can’t shake the feeling that this ORCL WMT tiktok thing is the start of something cool and could along with SHOP present an alternative to AMZN. ETSY was the incubator of many of the DevOps standard practices that are widespread today. They offer a more “humane” commerce platform that I keep thinking people will start to prefer.
things could get weird

back in ETSY at 110.5 (sold GRWG and added some cash)

I've used ETSY over the years and have enjoyed their experience. Pretty dang easy to use and connect with vendors.
Considering adding them
ETA: they do however have a ton of things that are mass produced made in China things, but that is probably to be expected

Tik tok and Peacock a big part of ROKU’s run? Crazy morning there.
