I have DirecTV and AT&T gigabit. Paying $80/month for internet, and I see the promotion on their website. My only concern is the fine print. It says with "new 24 month agreement." I'm just leary of signing a new contract with them- I've been month to month for about a year and not sure if I will stay with them for 2 more years.

Unless their service goes to shite, I'm never leaving ATT fiber. Maybe I'd switch to google fiber if it was an option.

I had Comcast internet for over 10 years and it was a crapshoot. The last year of it I had outages almost every week/multiple days in a row that would last hours at a time.

With ATT fiber in 2 years, I've had maybe 3-4 outages with the longest being 15 minutes. I work primarily from home so that stability is critical for me.

Got a link for that? I have yet to see a 24 month contract for ATT internet. The only 24 month contracts have been for directv or At&t TV.
