fourteen is the most draftees any school has had in a modern seven-round draft, and nine is the most LSU has ever had.
Will history happen? Recruiting should continue to be EXCELLENT
It’s an unpaid commercial they could not afford to pay for. Every 15, 16, 17-year old who will watch the draft will see those LSU young men get picked. It’s a little subliminal, but it shows how good the program has become. And that draft is a “sell” for future recruits. Everyone being recruited at that level feels he will play in the NFL and so it’s “Hey look all those LSU players getting selected.”
The potential is five and maybe six first-round picks: Joe Burrow, K’Lavon Chaisson, Justin Jefferson, Patrick Queen, Kristian Fulton, Grant Delpit. So you have: Burrow, Chaisson, Jefferson, Queen, Fulton, Delpit, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and Lloyd Cushenberry all gone within the first two rounds. Then… Jacob Phillips, Damien Lewis, Saahdiq Charles, Thaddeus Moss, Rashard Lawrence, Michael Divinity, Blake Ferguson. That would make 15 players… Then with a shot to add to that number would be

Long Snappers hardly ever get drafted.

Hard no shot on Ferguson getting drafted
You could put Dillon or Fehoko on your list to give you a stronger case

This thread name/title has got to be the worst-constructed sentence in the history of sentences.

I don’t know, but they won the national championship.

FWIW I’ve been bored and scavenging the internet for every mock draft I can find. I’ve seen 2-3 7 round mocks where Ferguson is drafted. I’ve yet to see one where Dillon or Fehoko get drafted

I think we've got a shot at tying Miami's 6 first rounders in 2004... Would be pretty awesome. That's the record, from a "free ad" that you are looking for. Everyone watches first round. Viewership dwindles over the next 6 rounds. Sure, we hit the overall record, we'll advertise the hell out of it. But in terms of "free"? We need the first round record to hear 6-7 Tigers called and have the talking heads mention it and the record all night.
Your hopes to tie:
Burrow
Chaisson
Delpit
Fulton
Jefferson
Queen
Your hopes to break:
The above 6 plus CEH or Lloyd.

Dandy's list of probabilities from this morning.
This year, LSU has a chance to rewrite the record books. Tigers who could “get the call”’ this week include:
Joe Burrow,
K’Lavon Chaisson,
Justin Jefferson,
Patrick Queen,
Kristian Fulton,
Grant Delpit,
Clyde Edwards-Helaire,
Lloyd Cushenberry,
Jacob Phillips,
Damien Lewis,
Saahdiq Charles,
Thaddeus Moss,
Rashard Lawrence,
Michael Divinity,
Blake Ferguson,
Breiden Fehoko,
Derrick Dillon
and Stephen Sullivan.
That’s 18 possibilities, folks! So, just for fun,
