Convert to a all meat diet for a month. More than likely the bacteria is dead, but your immune system is hyper.

Disulfiram.

It’s the single most effective agent for Lyme. Lyme can change form to withstand treatment, and evade your immune system. Disulfiram kills it in all forms. (It also probably starves it)

Disulfiram will put you into remission. You will get well.

Test for confections. Ticks are like dirty needles and can contain a number of illnesses including Bartonella and Babesia.

Those do not respond to the same drugs. Babesia is especially pernicious.

We no longer believe that. If a patient remains sick, there’s a residual infection.

Disulfiram, talk to your MD, if you can’t get the prescription filled locally, look at compounding pharmacies.

Infuserv America in Florida is a good option.

DSF is the first drug we’ve tested that actually kills Lyme in a test tube. Every other drug, including mainline treatments like Doxycycline, leave behind substantial numbers of persister cells. DSF will actually sterilize the tube.

Off label reports from patients are very exciting. People who’ve been sick for decades are going off medication.

I was diagnosed with Lyme earlier this year, with mono as well.
Took three weeks of prescription drugs (starts with D), and while still abnormally tired, i don’t see any other effects.
What’s going on with you?

Edit: I also experience some numbness and tingling in my extremities, like legs and arms going to sleep sooner than normal.

Most patients recover after two or three weeks of Doxycycline, a substantial portion do not though.

If you’re still feeling symptomatic, I would talk with your doctor.

-

For years, decades, the Infectious Disease Society is America maintained that Lyme was easily treated and quickly cured. Important people wrote papers that said that. And woe on you if you dared contradict them. It was the party line at famous institutions, like Johns Hopkins.

They were all wrong.

We now understand that Lyme is difficult to treat and that existing medications are insufficient.

Not all doctors are aware of this though. They have no reason to stay up to date on the research.

I presume it’s the mono making me tired.
But, I do have a follow up in May.
Thanks for the advice.

Disulfiram? Seriously? Antabuse? The stuff they give you at drug counseling to make you throw up if you drink alcohol? For DWI'S? That stuff? Wow. Who knew.
