New Budget Computer Build

Thinking about building a computer due to corona boredom since the Nintendo switches are 450+ on eBay. Haven’t built a computer or played games since 2006. Anyone have advice or links on builds under a grand (cheaper the better). Already have monitors. Would look to play wow, EQ, counter strike, and maybe the new Call of Duty (under the assumption that you can play cross platform with people on PlayStation and Xbox).

You can do my build for under $1k
Gigabyte b450m motherboard
Ryzen 5 2600 cpu
650w psu(go bigger if your budget allows)
GeForce RTX 2060 gpu
16gb ram.
Phantex p400s case
2 additional RGB fans.
Throw in a 1tb hard drive and a 1tb ssd.
I’ve been playing warzone on high graphics settings and seeing a smooth 120-130 FPS.

You'll have to eventually get a better monitor to take advantage of your build.

Youre going to smoke the consoles even though they have the aim assist or whatever.
Ive been playing with friends. Im on xbox and they are on pcs, they just smoke me and its not even close.

1660 Ti for the GPU. Best bang for your buck imho. Can get it pretty cheap from eBay. That’s what I did and it’s fantastic for your set of games.
You get 6 GB of VRAM and better performance than the 1060 6GB.
As for the rest I’ll have to wait till I get off work to do a parts list

But that 2060 is good enough to last you a few years playing AAA games. I’ll make a lower budget build later on when I get time later.
Or just downgrade that CPU/GPU to better fit your budget.

I don’t know anything about building a computer. Are there any decent prebuilt ones for around 1k?

I think your best bet for that is scouring facebook marketplace or Craigslist for a used PC.

When I built it a few weeks back the 3600 was i think $20-30 higher than it is now and my budget was whatever was in my checking account because I wanted to build the computer without having to charge anything.
The same reason why I just went with the 650w instead of going for a 750w. I had to wait on the SSD and just now got that in. I figure I could enjoy the shite out of this as is and next year start upgrading further.
Just saw where Ryzen announced the 4000 series CPUs will be compatible with my motherboard.

What do you mean? The Ti is a better card than the Super while only being ~$50 more expensive

By 3-5% in most benchmarks? That $50 is a waste.
