Those WR's actively being recruited and currently on campus?

Is this guy someone who can step in and play early, or will he have to wait his turn at LSU?

I would rather have Ricky Johnson out of Carencro cause he is biggger stronger and faster.

hes a priority I believe because hes a highly rated in state guy

He is not the type of player who could step in and play right away in my opinion, especially not at LSU. He needs to put on a lot of weight for one thing.

I wish I knew what the staff saw in him.

He is as weak as a kicker but fast like Byrd. He will redshirt to put some muscle on then he could be a deep threat.

Ricky Johnson is faster than Bell? Hes pretty damn fast then, from what I've seen/heard, Bell is a sub 4.4 guy.

Bell is really thin and needs to put on some serious weight. However, with his speed he has a chance to play as a RS freshman. In my opinion.

I agree. Would be a pretty good slot receiver IMO.

KB has already gained a little weight. Saw him about a month ago and he's up to 172. He wont play his freshman year at LSU. He'll redshirt and get stronger. I've seen him play a few times, just a natural player I guess. Great speed and seems to know how to get open.

I still rather Ricky Johnson You can't beat 6'2 195 with 4.4 speed.

I've been impressed enough with Bell's videos. He runs really clean routes and has great hands, but there's absolutely no way he's a sub 4.4 guy.

Incorrect. He's faster than Chris Tolliver. His coach claims he's one of the fastest players he's coached, and he's also caoched Tolliver and R Murphy. Speed is Bell's biggest drawing point.

And you think he's sub 4.4?

ETA: There's one sub 4.4 guy on the squad (Trindon), and maybe D-Byrd could sneak under 4.4.

Let's think about the guys that have come out of LSU that have run legit sub 4.4's at the NFL combine (Addai - 4.38, Gay - 4.37, Landry - 4.35, and Davis - 4.37). All those guys had years of strength and speed training and trained with professional sprinting coaches to get their times under 4.4 and yet you're positive that Kenny Bell is a sub 4.4 now?

Another edit... I do think Chad Jones will run a hair above 4.4 by the time he's ready for the combine but could break under 4.4.

He's probably not far off, but may not be there yet. I took your post to mean that he wasnt as fast as everyone thought, which he is. I DO think he can get there.
