i know he is a very athletic player who can play both sides of the ball. also he is a all city basketball player. he should make a solid D-1 player..

I may be reaching a little but I think Trey Wilson from Evangel could possibly see an offer later this year. The kid only allowed 2 receptions at the 3 day camp and clocked at 4.45. Also, keep in mind I am a ECA supporter as well.

I don't think LSU will sign any of these DB's. Which would suck but I wouldn't hold my breath on any of these signings.
Trey Wilson is showing some great cover skills in this film. Ruben Randle has a pretty decent arm.

I have read that both Trey Wilson of Evangel and Bennie Logan pretty good showings today. Wilson clocked at a 4.45 forty and showed great cover skills was hardly caught on today.

Bennie seemed to own his man in most of his one on one drills and really stood out. Are there any other updates for players from the area? I know Jonathan Stewart didn't show for camp.

I would take JM any day. Defense wins championships!
Fan, I agree also. The stars are "sometimes" overrated. I think when it comes to 3 stars who could possibly have the potential to be 4 or 5 stars. IMO some players are good high school players regardless of stars and some will be good college athletes and few will be pros. Stars dont measure the athletes heart, will and determination.

re: Does Bell's Weight Matter.

I agree. He hasn't even began his senior year so there's time for him to come to LSU at a good weight.
I think LSU still has a chance to get Loston just because of his family ties to the program (Shepherd). How many 18 year olds wouldnt like to attend the same school and compete for a National Title with their cousins..
I am expecting some NW Louisiana players to show up and really show out at the camp. There are several attending from the Shreveport/ Bossier area

I am going with, Randle (if he attends), Davenport and Bell.
I am interested to see who will be that "breakout player" this year. The one who makes his name at camp.
royboy can you post the names on that link for preseason NWLA preps? My pc couldn't find the link.
Bell is really thin and needs to put on some serious weight. However, with his speed he has a chance to play as a RS freshman. In my opinion.
I saw Chrisian Michael at UT camp 2 summers ago before his junior year and even then he had the coaches drooling. I am surprised it took them this long to offer him. He was big, fast and elusive.. He also won fastest man at the camp beating out a kid from Evangel, Trey Wilson who was a close second.
I haven't ever seen Starkville but am a fan of their coach. I think MSU will pull some quality players from Louisiana before this recruiting season is done.
This is a tough one. I personally like Kirkpatrick. I think his height and speed at that position makes him extremely hard to deal with. Who wouldn't want a tall DB to cover tall wideouts? However, I think he will commit to TX with Muschamp and Lynn OU.
