What this pandemic has taught me..

There are two types of people in our country that goes beyond race, politics, gender, etc.
People that do as they are told, regardless of logic and reasoning. Non-thinkers.
People that question what they are being told to do. They use logic and reasoning in processing what they are told.
Unfortunately, the first group has vastly greater numbers than the second.

It’s taught me that a lot of this country are easily manipulated by the media, they will narc on their neighbors for being outside and police will arrest you for not wearing a mask. The deep state won this.

That George Washington was right and political parties need to be reassessed. The left has gone so left that they will stop at nothing to make something seem negative. They are not democrats, they are mindless socialists for the most part. Uninspired weak character folk as far as I'm concerned.

LoL, if the non thinkers would not have stayed home this would be 1000xs worse than what it is. Then these falling numbers all you “open everything back up tards” would have nothing to jerk each other over. Then again most of you would rather sacrifice the old and sick to get your stocks back up..

I won’t say it “taught” as much as reiterated what I already knew.
Most people are incapable of evaluating raw information and formulating their own logical conclusions based on that information.
Instead, they seek out someone else’s “interpretation” based on their preconceived notions and then regurgitate those talking points ad nauseam regardless of their accuracy.
All the logical arguments in the world won’t move them off that point because they are emotionally, rather than intellectually, invested in their “side.”

Hot Springs State Park and some hiking trails reopened yesterday after being shut down for two weeks because three campers there tested positive for the virus. They didn't know they had it until after arriving back home and getting tested so I assume they starting feeling ill while camping. All 23 staff members at the park quarantined themselves and after 14 days no one showed signs of the virus so the park opened back up.
Moral of the story, common sense has been the best answer on how to handle this virus, not a "frick it, we should do what we want because this is a hoax virus" or a "we should be scared shitless and not leave the house for a month" approach either. A little of both approaches have seemed to work quite well here in Arkansas.

I don't think it's so much 'blindly obedient' vs. 'questioning and skeptical'. I think the real two types demonstrated by the pandemic is those who are easily frightened and those who are not.

What it taught me was the threshold for closing our economy needs to be much higher.

Your response to not having numbers from your bogus claim is questioning where my numbers are. I never falsly claimed to have numbers, just wanted to see yours.

<------ People who basically can read information that is developing and take action based on common sense, knowledge of the subject, and do what is necessary to keep themselves safe. I self quarantined way before we were told to.

So once again you tell me I’m wrong and supplied no proof while not having any you say why you are right. Obviously what is being done is working compared to other countries who let people run free..
