20 Bucks on LSU against APP. STATE

My coworker bet me 20 dollars that LSU won't win against App. State by more than 20. I think it's money in the bank for me. What do you think? Also - anyone know what the betting line is?

I wouldn't give him 20 points

i read the betting line is 24 i think. Good bet it will be covered by halftime.

I think there is a good chance our backups are going to cost you 20 bucks.

i got a $100 in a 21pt push for app to cover it. but theres bound to be more prop bets the closer we get to kickoff

Fair bet. if I were you I ask for another bet for $50 and give 23 1/2.
I got 24 against Michigan and thought I'd lost money.....What a difference a year makes with a bet. I would bet that LSU 2nd teamers who will see the field in the 4th quarter will make the spread against the APP 2nd and 3rd teamers. Other than the ungodly hype that ESPN will put on this game, I think it will follow much the same pattern as the other time we played.

i would take that bet if it consisted of the score when we put of second team in.

in addition i get double if app wins but i have to pay double if we get shut out.

Meh, I think both teams will be better offensively, maybe a little worse defensively.

Up the bet to $100....money in the bank easy

win or lose... I cant wait till this game is over. These maybe the most delusional fans I've come in contact with. Please just not mention Michigan anymore.... I can't take it much more.

I made a bet earlier this summer $500 with 17 points.
The only line right now is 23 on 5 dimes.

Sorry for the long winded first post, but here goes.
Agree, you guys will rack up rushing yardage. In all honesty, our defense gave up some pretty serious yardage last year, but we hope it will be improved with experience. Our LB's do kick #@$ and have SEC speed. Did you happen to catch a glimpse of Banks and Roman against UM? The dudes were running Wolverines down, making tackles sideline to sideline. You guys probably aren't that interested in what really happened in that game, but UM was on their damn heels in the 3rd Q and were on the verge of getting blown out. Were it not for a dropped pass in the endzone (of the variety that hits the uncovered receiver square in the chest), they could have been done for the day. Fortunately for us, Hart got dinged up and had to sit out about half the game. If he were on the field the whole game, it would have been a different story. They would not have been punting and they would have worn our D down. Probably the biggest thing that surprised me against the Wolverines was how unprepared they were and how they couldn't stop us. I mean, we acttually ran the ball on them, which was pretty shocking to me. It didn't look like they had a clue. LSU will be well prepared and will utilize superior size, and depth to wear us down in the 4th Q. I wonder if you might start slow due to QB change? You never know for sure, until they play in game conditions. You guys have seen plenty of elite athletes in your day. Let's see what you think about AE. I'm sure you guys will spy him and make sure he doesn't hurt you wih his feet. Also, as you are quick to point out, he's small. However, the dude has ice water in his veins and is deadly in space. Had he not missed time to injury, he would have had a 2nd consecutive year of 2,000+ yds passing and rushing. Again, you've seen it before, but you gotta be impressed with a Sophomore who waltzes into the Big House like it's no big deal and procedes to run the spread to perfection. AE will take what you give him, so I suspect he'll dice you guys a bit with the passing game and utilize our other playmakers.
We hope to be back on the cover of SI, with AE for Heisman coverage, but realisticly, I'm looking for the Bayou Bengals to walk away something like 42-21. We might ding you a couple of times, but you've got to many studs in the stable for a poor, little teachers college out of the Blue Ridge Mtns. of NC.

I'll bet you a hundred bucks. I'll take under 63 points. LSU wins 31-7 and the original poster sweats his balls off on this one.
