How the hell did I miss this show? Its like a 2000's version of Andy Griffith. I'm not one for cheese-factor either. I'm in the last season - fourth episode - and even when they lost many of the main actors for the last season, its still good.

Connie Britton is something else. She would get it until the gettin' store was closed.

This show was great at hitting all the right emotional notes. Few shows repeatedly hit you in the gut like this one. The highs and lows were incredible, and the relationships between the characters felt so genuine

Julie Taylor was an awful character, but I’ll be damned if she didn’t get my dick hard.

I've watched the first 1st season several times. I tried to watch S2 but never finished because my gf at the time kept giving me shite about how it's a teen soap opera, and I realized she's right. Good guilty pleasure though.

I would purchase a jar of Lyla Garrety's farts for a hefty price.

There. I said it.

My favorite aspect of the show was always when they cut back and forth between the different aspects of Dillon reacting over the same event. Always gave you an interesting insight in to everyone and always gave you the feeling you were an actual town citizen. I always liked it when they jumped between the black and white church

Just finished. That finale was great! The whole show was well-written, directed, acted and edited.

I'm mostly pissed that I just stumbled on this show - what - 13 years after it aired? I think I was actually attempting to watch the movie Friday Night Lights and stumbled into it. I knew the series version existed but I never paid it any attention obviously.

If I stay cooped-up for another month I'll probably rewatch it.

Great music by Explosions in the Sky. Had never heard of them prior to the show
