I remember it like it was yesterday. Sec 138 row 11, was with my wife. My son was 2 years old at home with a babysitter, and my daughter wasn’t even a star in the sky.

We were still living in a rental in the Garden District while we were rebuilding our house.

This game is very sentimental to my family.

I remember walking down Poydras after the game talking to people about the Mayors race between Mitch and Nagin. I clearly remember telling someone there was no fricking way I’d ever vote for a Landrieu.

So Nagin was my choice and he got his second term and that’s what did him in.

Saints on own 37.

Announcer, "Saints need 40 more yards to give Carney a 50 yard FG attempt."

Hmm....

We were all one back then.

I can’t even still figure the emotion we had went through when Green Day starting playing and then Bono came out.

We are one again

We need a new Green Day/U2 event ..

We still run that play. Deep drop, pull the backside guard, WR deep and WR intermediate.

just to hammer home the point of CSP's tweet after he tweeted out plays from the playbook

"they've seen these plays before"

If the Saints score here and go for and get the 2 point conversion, guess what the score is?

Agreed.

And sorry it's house of the rising sun.

But yeah.. wasn't a fan of either.. but they announced all of the local guys playing the horns behind it.. and making it personal.

It hit a chord right off the bat with me.
