Based upon percentages, the curve in spread seems to be decreasing and more and more people seem to be recovering. The hydroxichloriquine approval should also help this number of recoveries rise rapidly as well. Am I wrong in this?

Honestly the cases are increasing where I am but I’m in a rural area and it took it longer to get here, I guess . But everybody seems to be recovering, even an 80 year old.

Our hospitals confirmed cases have stayed steady for the past 3 days. I know we’re testing more and more everyday so we’re all keeping our fingers crossed that the peak won’t be as bad as we fear.

We also have a better medical system than Italy..... and I don’t know if you’ve ever been there, but a large portion of their population is old with a lot of health problems. The spread here is worse by the numbers, but take the population of Italy and the population of the us and you’ll see the infection rate here is lower per capita and deaths are a much lower percentage here.

Who knows, I am tracking our hospital systems first positive by date and we should be seeing a huge influx of patients by now since it has been 20 days.

Maybe being stuck in traffic for commutes is a blessing in disguise instead of being stuck on mass transit.

I have been forced onto PTO, time off in other words, because our surgery centers are being closed and the new people there don't have enough time off to keep their jobs or income. I on the other hand have been maxed out for years, taking one for the team.

I am doing my own amateur epidemiology at home and I think I can just start to see the forerunner in a bend in the curve.

That isn't the plateau, but the start of it.
