One more time for you.....
They would NOT have FORCED WW to sign this new contract if they did not FULLY INTEND to FIRE HIS arse when/if LSU receives a "Notice of Infractions" letter from the NCAA. As you said, they could have fired him with the wording in his old contract. However, the BOS wanted to SEND WW (and the fans) A STRONG MESSAGE.
Question for you (since you have a hard time understanding what is really going on)......
If LSU gets a "Notice of Infractions" letter from the NCAA containing Level I or II violations, will WW get fired?

Any school can terminate any coach at any time. The language was changed in the contract to establish receipt of level 1 or 2 NOA as just cause. With just cause, LSU doesn’t owe Wade anything from the balance of his contract. The contract revisions stipulate receipt of an NOA, not proof or any subsequent sanctions. So no, the change was substantive.
