Noises off. Based off a stage play about a theater troupe trying to rehearse and perform a play.

The cast is perfect.

Of those I haven't seen mentioned yet:
Gross pointe blank
Spies like us
Greedy
Ice pirates
Secret of my success
Nothing to lose
Nobody's fool (Paul Newman)
Real genius
Top secret
Quick change
The great outdoors
Johnny dangerously
Multiplicity
The man who knew too little
Kung Fu hustle
Dirty work
The Golden child
Fierce creatures

Couple of those might not be underrated, but what the hey.

Two of my favorites that nobody ever talks about are Let It Ride and Oscar.

Four Lions. It's a British movie about a team of wannabe suicide bombers in London who suck at being suicide bombers.

Another dark one that flew largely under the radar. Directed by Linklater and based on a true story. Black is hilarious.

Thank you for starting this thread, have a lot of movies to procure now

The Goods and Balls of Fury, Hot Rod, 7 Days of Hell, Rat Race, The Replacements and Bad Words are great suggestions that I've seen so far

Not unknown...but not enough people have seen it. Film buffs have a few critics and maybe Linklater's immediate family.

Everyone loves Dazed and Confused and the monotonous Before, After, During Sunrise saga...

But his first Major Motion Picture seems to have been forgotten.

Love that film.

And I don't even like Bette Midler.

DeVito kills it.

Perfectly cast imo I accidentally saw this as a young kid and laughed at almost everything. The "Bedroom Killer" was fricking creepy to a 5 year old though.
