Keep on closing those public institutions of leftist brainwashing

False. Public schools are getting a boost because the parents are realizing how much they enjoy sending their children away.

Wouldn't it be something if public schooling never recovers from this, after parents realize their kids finished the semester just fine under their own teaching?

True but it will give those that we’re too afraid to try it an actual look at it. I think there will be a swell in Homeschool numbers

Not going to happen. While there are many stay at home parents there aren’t enough. And most parents don’t want to have to do this full time.

I don't think that's how it works. Home schools are local home school organizations if I'm not mistaken.
Like one mom who's a stay at home educated mom teaches the kids of several families.
And I'm a product of public schools. I'm not hating on public schools. I'm just hoping to see power jerked away from leftists in public schools.

Most of the men who wrote the constitution were homeschooled.

Probably true throughout the country in English and history, hopefully not science and math. Very few home schooled kids would get a quality education in math and science. If they can’t get it in local public schools, go private. If you are public and have woke English and history teachers, get off your duff and let the school know your thoughts. Maintain your silence no more.

More people will probably find out that their kids and their homelife is the real problem. In typical louisiana fashion though, they will stick their heads in the sand

Americans are way too lazy to raise their own kids all day

I pay a decent bit for private school. We are getting lessons sent home daily that take about 3 hours to complete, and there has been no talk about reimbursing us for this period.
Kind of annoyed

No one would mind it except for the part where parents need to work to maintain a living

If there were a fairly administered literacy and civics test to register as a voter which party do you think would benefit?

Your complaint is about the lack of work?
I think it’s a pretty self centered view to think about reimbursement given we are in an unprecedented situation.

Most kids will do fine. However, it’s a fairly limited duration, the parents have been given lesson plans/assignments to use, and the parents are also home all day. Success in this short term will not necessarily translate well into a long term plan
