We should only pay people who are laid off from their job or have had their pay cut.
That way we could help folks with 2k instead of $1,200 to a guy still making $74,000 a year.

I agree with only paying those who lost jobs, but in order to get this through quickly I don’t think it’s feasible to accurately check who actually lost a job due to this. There also may be people who lose their right after the checks go out and then they would be screwed. Congress can’t project who will lose their job due to this. It’s a tricky situation.
