This is a bad way to look at it. We didnt just have 2 offers and pick MJ. We picked MJ like a week ago. They made the decision to move on to other decisions and decide then on a fairly 50/50 call. Who knows what Vonn was asking for AT THE TIME.

1) Jenkins move was more about adding leadership to the secondary than upgrading the talent.

2)CGJ is better than Bell and would have replaced him anyway.

Not necessarily. Saint could have offered the same contract and he declined, convinced he could get more. Just like Ingram.
