I haven’t stopped praying for this country or the president, but a large part of me thinks we are too far gone. Another part of me thinks we are reaping what we have sown and I wonder if America is the Whore of Babylon from the book of Revelation?
It’s never too late for a nation to repent, but I see no outward signs of that occurring.

It baffles me that success is measured by how much money you spend on a problem and not the outcome of solving the problem.

Thanks to democrats, not only haven’t we let our weakest die off, we have decided to support them financially thus freeing them up to reproduce at a much higher rate than our best and brightest

But is that a good thing?

People used to die of infections all the time, I am still interested in the antibiotics.

Antibiotics didn't cripple society.

We have always had infectious diseases, never has there been a reaction to an infectious disease like the one we are witnessing based on the actual death toll.

We're pretty early in the cycle of this thing to make that proclamation.

7 billion people, estimated population, worldwide. 460000 cases, 22000 deaths, Worldwide.

We lit our hair on fire for 22000 deaths. We are in the process of destroying our Economy for what? To appease Millennial Skycreamers.

That is not true. Healthy people are dying, just not at the same rate.

I think what you are talking about is a one off, well lighting can strike anyone. However, with this virus we know its a bug which strikes elderly people that have one or more pre-existing conditions.

Also, the .9% of the ones that don't have a pre-existing condition is mostly in bad general health and elderly, or has a pre-existing condition.. they didn't know about is also very likely.

Of course, if you feel differently you still have the ability to self isolate.

Actually, we've had good data for well over a month, none of this was necessary in the States, Asia, sure, not here.

Agreed, but there is a very large portion of our population that thinks government intervention should occur because they have a hurt feeling. Welcome to 1984.

If you don't understand what True Tiger is talking about you should read more 19th century commentary.
I'd suggest you start with De Tocqueville.

Care to elaborate? I’d love to hear how someone that claims to support capitalism can also think survival of the fittest is horrible. Maybe you’d be happier if you moved to a communist country?
