I am angry, and I believe justifiably so; aren't you? If so, have you spoken out?

As I sit cooped up in a prison of the Democrats' making, my thoughts have inevitably turned inward. If there's one way to sum up my feelings of late, it's this: I'm angry. Are you angry? If so, are you doing anything about it?
The prevailing sentiment I've seen on the board and elsewhere is "why?" Mostly, "Why are the Democrats doing this? What could drive a human being to act so transparently of their own interest with selfish ulterior motives?" However, that question doesn't need to be asked. We know why the Democrats do it; they are an ancient remnant organization, a vestigial parasite party, a bottomless void that should not naturally continue to exist in a modern and civilized society. Yet they do persist, because their methods are not just, their protocols are not legal, and their scruples are nonexistent.
No, the question you should be asking yourself is "How can I do something about this?" There is, practically, zero to be gained from complaining passionately on internet forums and attempting to corral your lost-in-the-woods college-aged nieces and nephews, home from college, out of their liberal-sponsored brainwashing. The good news is, our society has protocols in place to enact positive change on not only your whole community, but the nation as a whole. It's easy, but it's somewhat obscure; it's not often covered exhaustively in public education, and that's not by accident, because it grants we the citizens great power.
Call your state senator. Relentlessly. Email them. Run for local office. Enact change at the local level. Run for office at the state level. Enact change at the state level. Make your opinions known where they matter - to your elected servents, not to the anonymous internet warriors. Be pervasive, and be persistent. Be known. Be heard. Take part in the grand American experiment called democracy, and take action to actually make a difference in society.
If you haven't taken these steps, as I have (at both the local level in my town board, in frequent communications with the mayor, and even at the Mississippi State Capitol in Jackson), then your voice falls on deaf ears here. It is either preaching to an eager but already-allied choir, or bouncing off liberal trolls who will never be convinced otherwise of their ways. The myth of the internet forum moderate waiting for a suggestive conversation to persuade them to your cause is an unambiguous myth, if that is the mythology you choose to subscribe to.
Get out and participate in America, or vow to give up your right to complain when all those Democrat policies you whinge and prattle on about actually come into reality. Or -- at the least -- when they do, don't do it here.
God Bless America, and God Bless Trump

How did this Nigerian prince suddenly learn proper English and come up with a multi para post???

You know, it’s not just Democrats promoting all this right...

How and when did democrats gain control of power in Mississippi?
Posted on 3/24/20 at 7:17 pm to prisonpunk
Democrats control nothing in Mississippi, but I think you'd agree that most complaining on this board comes from Louisianians, no? They are the ones stuck under the foot of the liberal fortress of New Orleans, and the unfortunate illness of "Democrat Governor-itis".
What I meant, of course, was Democrat control of the country as a whole.

Does it help you cope in your world of absolutes to have a boogeyman to blame this on?
How did the Democrats force this administration to wait almost two weeks to declare a Public Health Emergency after the first officially confirmed case in here (when this was done two days after the first confirmed case of H1N1 in 2009.) Declaring a PHE allows for immediate medical assistance and testing (which was also fricked up due to faulty tests being sent by the CDC).
The Democrats engineered all of that?

Are the downvotes because I'm wrong, or because my post is long? In either case, that's not very strong. Try to come up with a better song against my points if you're going to play along.

It’s because you went from esl to masters English, you’re a fraud.

I read all of your posts in Mickey Rooney's Japanese voice from Breakfast at Tiffany's.

I read its posts in a Russian accent.

The downvote is because you start by saying
when you live in Mississippi. Lying only hurts the cause.

I did that at first, but it's funnier in a bad over-the-top asian accent.

Just because I'm not in an Edwards-imposed literal prison (are you allowed to leave your bathrooms outside of hidin' hours?) doesn't mean that the state of the country around me and the impending "threat" (if we can call it that) of a massive viral pandemic isn't swirling around me. Try harder, pal. It's not my fault you're stuck in the state that knocked us out of 50th place in a bunch of the ratings.
And Democrats caused this entire fiasco. It's not rocket science.

Apparently you don’t understand what state Clemson is in

I'm an Iowa fan and grad, but my hometown and current town are both in the Magnolia State. It's not unreasonable to think someone gave up one Death Valley to go to another. So, fair play, I was wrong.

Now do "national emergency" for 2009 vs 2020.
