Suggestions for weed control this time of year?

I have used Spectracide with atrazine in the past but I keep reading it is not best to use something this strong once temps start getting close to 85 degrees and above. I live in Savannah, Ga. and have a combination of centipede and St Augustine.

Seems like the consensus is Celcius or MSM Turf

Atrazine is labeled for April 15th and if bermuda is greened up it will kill it. MSM is good but I like Celsius better.

Any tips or tricks on using MSM or Celsius?

MSM is slower acting but cheaper. Celsius works quicker and works better on harder to remove weeds like virginia button weed, lespedeza, wild violet, etc. No matter which one you use follow the label. If it calls for surfactant or seed oil use it. I have fill charts for both products.

If you're using MSM, make sure you get their measuring device as you only use tiny amounts of it... and it's critical to keep it away from hard woods like oaks.

Where is the best place to get these?

Anything comparable I can get at Home Depot? Would like to treat this weekend but not sure how quick I could get something like this shipped.

Are you in Baton Rouge? There’s a site one there. Feed stores might have it too

I use MSM-T and buy it on E-Bay.

No I am in Ga and my city just issued a shelter in place so I am not sure if a lot of the smaller places will even be open.

It might be easier for you to order the MSM Turf on Amazon, 2 oz bottle is plenty, and 1/8 teaspoon measuring spoon, and have that available for use in warm weather conditions. 85 F+. You don’t want to use this until your St Aug and Centipede are fully greened up.
You can also order Hi-Yield Atrazine and Fertilome Weed-Free-Zone and Hi Yield surfactant from Amazon and spray it if temps are less than 85 F. I know you’ll be hot in Savannah this week, but looks like you’ll have nice cooler weather next week. Use of this “cocktail” does not require the lawn grass to be greened it. Good size retail plant nurseries usually carry these products, and as well good size hardware stores, at least they do in our area of Louisiana, but who is going to be open......,
You can spray the entire lawn if covered in weeds or spot spray clumps of weeds.
Below are the “recipes” - follow the instructions and read the labels on the bottles of herbicides. Note: the MSM Tuft recipe for Virginia Buttonweed is applicable to most, not all, weeds in your lawn.

is that .1oz = 1 tsp in the picture, or 1oz = 1tsp

It’s 0.1 oz per teaspoon - should have put a “0” in front of the decimal.
Not sure why they put that line in there anyway, just a source of confusion, when the fifth line says to use a 1/8 of a teaspoon. I’ll tell them they should fix that next time I go to Cleggs.

I need to fertilize, mow, and apply one more winter weed cocktail now. What order should I do that in and do I have to leave time in between them?

I’d spray herbicide first, 2 days later +, I’d cut grass grass and fertilize on the same day.

Yea. Don't waste your money on Scotts if you have St Aug. I think the dollar bill and clover weeds ate it plant food. Total waste of money.
