So my SIL just got a letter from the state ordering her to close her business until April 20.
If the govt is gonna order it to close shouldnt the govt pay for the loss of revenue.

No, but they should forgive all bills like rent/utilities/etc. for her.

I bet her landlord is going to be pissed about that.

where and what kind of business?

Morally or legally?
If the latter, this wouldn’t constitute a taking under the current state of the law.

Pics or it didn’t happen. I’d like to see exactly what the letter said.

So other private entities should lose revenues due to the govt decisions?
Seems it makes more sense for the govt to take on that responsibility if they are giving the orders.

What state? What's her business? What's the exact verbiage in the letter?

What type of business is it out of curiousity? Just wondering how far out the government is reaching.

Letters or packages? As long as I’ve been alive I’ve never got a letter delivery from usps on a Sunday.

What he meant to post was that his SIL knows someone who owns a business and they got something in the mail that said something about closing.
