What’s the consensus? I for one love Bell’s leadership and hard hitting ability in the run game but CJG can do it just as well if not better. The problem is CJ was very good as a slot defender for us so we would have to lose him there if Bell walks. Carolina wants Bell so we won’t win a bidding war but if we can get Bell back for 3 years $16-18 million I say do it so CJ can be free to make plays. Bell would be missed in the locker room, he’s one of the more vocal guys on defense.

If you can bring Bell back for the right price...you do it. He's still young & had 2 damn good years in a row. That's not the kind of guy you want to let go.

I want Bell & CGJ if possible.

CGJ is a football player. He will make ton of plays. Play Vonn and the box safety and we’ll be fine.

CGJ all the way. Even as a rookie I’d say he’s better in coverage. Bell probably the surer tackler and harder hitter, but CGJ has already proven to be a willing tackler. Bell is not bad at all, actually end up better than I initially thought but still cannot see him being worth anything north of $5M versus CGJ’s potential plus the fact he’s on the rookie contract
