Neither of y’all are going to agree with the other bc a point could be made either way but I lean toward townedrunkard with conditions. You are only dropping two picks back in the first so it is worth the better 3rd pending the players available at 24. If there is a guy that you really covet that you don’t think is available at 26 then you don’t take the trade. If you have a few players you really want at 24 or a guy that you feel will still be available at 26 then you take the trade. The statement that a difference of 18 picks in the 3rd is not significant is a bad take.
You also get Rosen who is at worst a serviceable 3rd qb. He really hasn’t had a chance thus far in his career. He has only been in the league for two years and has been on two different teams that were both terrible. Neither of them had an offensive line or very good receivers. Hell in two years he has had to learn two different playbooks. That is hard for a young qb still trying to develop and become pro. Let’s not forget that he was a top pick and some people projected him to be top 5..
