I'm on a conference call right now but I just had a missed call from the doctor. Then the wife texted me a few minutes later saying they called her too. They now want me to go to the parking lot and they'll meet me out there to do a test.

I'm kind of surprised they want to do a test. I figured my symptoms aren't severe enough to warrant one.

Yes, I got tested this afternoon and the results should be available in 3-4 business days. Right now I have to be quarantined and away from my wife and kid so I am living in my at-home office until I know the results.
If it’s positive, my wife and kid must get tested as well.
They met me at the doctors office wearing masks and plastic face guards to test for flu and strep. Then at the testing site in BR they were in gowns, scrubs, masks, face guards, etc.. I had to hold up my license to the window for identification purposes. I started rolling the window down to hand them my license and they panicked, yelling for me to put the window back up and just show them through the window. It was really bizarre and movie-like.
We’ll see how this quarantine goes. I’m already tired of it. I can hear my wife and kid in the house but I can’t see them in person. We’re gonna be FaceTiming two rooms away for the next few days. Not being able to hug and kiss my little buddy goodnight is going to be tough.
