Ask ANYONE in hospital admin and they'll tell you they LOVE 90% capacity.

My god, people don't get this. A hospital is 2 things: A place where people get fixed up in exchange for thousands of dollars, and a thousand dollar a night hotel.

They want BOTH sections FULL.

That’s why I said COVID usage for both hospital and ICU beds...

I also mentioned up in the thread, as you correctly state, that ICU usage is supposed to be high. Hell, OR usage is measured by the minute to maximize productivity. In Harris County, I believe that ICU usage was at 95% the same time last year (on phone, so I’d have to confirm later).
