NCAA weighs putting out bracket for teams that would’ve made tournament

Maybe start the 2020-21 with this tournament. Even though players would be different, it will still draw interest.

There’s always been a pre season NIT tournament, why not NCAA for the upcoming year.

Since some conferences never started theirs, some were in process, and others were complete, how do they handle that?
Would they go solely on conference standings? If so, some teams won a conference tourney who didn't finish first, so they get punished.

W/o the conference tournaments data point, it'd be similar to the selection committee rankings for college football in late November...not worth a damn

They should. It's just that you will never know what could have been without the conference tournaments.
