Question on DT's for 2009

I get that McFarland and Davenport are the top 2.
But lets say these two do commit to us why would we not offer the kid out of Destrehan if we could get all three?

Only reason I think we wouldn't is because of grades.

because we do not need three and that scholarship would be better allocated at a position of thinner depth

See I dont understand that if he is not going to get in so we place him like Benton. Its a position that is key to LSU and the future of LSU.
Hopefully we get at least one of the top 2 maybe both but if you have the chance of getting all 3 why not.

Sentimore doesn't have to be just a DT, hes got the size and speed to play DE too...

IF Al Woods declares for the NFL this year, we have Drake Nevis & Ken Aubrey at DT. Maybe Cordian Hagans (OL/DL) or possibly DE Lavar Edwards could be moved to DT. And that's assuming Zero injuries.

Well thats hard to believe because i have not seen him starting on anyones depth chart. He will get a good bit of pt though.

My post is about Sentimore. It has nothing to do with our current DTs. But no, Al Woods is not going pro this year.

if Sentimore shows marked improvement on his grades he'll be offered before we kickoff against Appy State and he will commit to us right then.

Guys take this for what it's worth,DS is a done deal pending his act score,if he passes it will happen soon.No if and butts.They will/would take all three.You dont turn down that talent.DS is a beast in the making.Dont buy into all the hype about other schools
